HYDROWORKS
A great example of a range of services for a single client, which designs and builds world-class hydro electric turbines. I was originally engaged to build a financial forecast model for the purposes of raising equity. I was then asked to manage the company's capital programme, during which $4m of growth capital was raised. When the CEO resigned, the Board requested I take on the role. I filled the CEO role for five months and sat on the selection and recruitment panel for the permanent appointment.
M&A CLIENT
I represented the vendor in a business sale and purchase valued in the tens of millions of dollars. The deal was structured in two parts, with one of the acquirers a two-party joint venture and all three acquirers being large corporates. My role included negotiations with the three acquiring parties and managing the due diligence collation, creation and presentation process including an online data room.
BID MANAGER
I was the Bid Manager on a $300m tender. My role was to manage the legal, commercial and financial modelling processes and co-ordinate the efforts of other internal and external resources to ensure a compliant and quality response.

I have supported a number of clients through building highly automated specialised spreadsheet solutions. These include:

Sophisticated reporting and rolling forecasting models, which pull data directly from ERP systems to save manual interfaces

A planning and resource scheduling application which provided a crucial working interim solution and the basis for a specification for a long term solution

Various automated reporting models pulling data from multiple sources including directly through ODBC and CSV exports
